We know it can be frustrating when your payment is declined. We’ve put together a list of the most common reasons why this might have happened:
- Your Card is frozen or blocked. You can check your card status by tapping ‘Card’ on the bottom banner of the app
- You entered incorrect card details e.g. card number, expiry date, CVV or billing address
- You didn’t complete the 3DS security step which authorises the payment in the Zing app
- You didn’t have enough money in your wallet to cover the transaction – follow these steps to add money to your account
- You may have exceeded your spending limits
- We blocked it for security reasons – we can’t always disclose why a transaction was blocked
- Zing’s system was temporarily unavailable – you can check the status of our services on our Status Page
- You made a payment in a country Zing doesn’t support
- The merchant didn’t perform a security check, or the security check failed, or the merchant doesn’t support Zing’s card – you’ll need to check with the merchant for these reasons
- We may have blocked the merchant, you can view a full list of the blocked merchants in our Prohibited Use Policy
