You can receive local payments into your GBP and EUR wallets. A local payment is a payment in the national currency of the country where the sending or receiving bank is located. This means that you can receive funds to your GBP wallet from anywhere in the UK via bank transfer.
You can also receive EUR payments using your EUR wallet details if they are sent as a SEPA payment. The Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) is a mechanism that facilitates the standardisation of electronic payments in EUR across Europe.
SEPA payments can be made by providing your IBAN, however if the Payment Service Provider does ask for the Bank Identifier Code (BIC) you can provide them the following: TCCLGB31
Please be advised, the above BIC is for SEPA payments. At the moment you can’t receive SWIFT payments or payments in other currencies.
Check out this helpful article for instructions on where to find your IBAN.
Note: If you are using another app-based service for payments, make sure that payments are sent from an account that’s in GBP or EUR, otherwise they will not go through.
