We use different exchange rates depending on the type of transaction you’re making.
We use a third-party exchange rate for all transactions. We use this rate for when you move money between your wallets.
If you’re spending money and you have a wallet open in the currency you’re making the transaction in, we’ll deduct the transaction amount from that wallet first. We use an internal exchange rate for this to let us move any money needed in case there is not enough money in the wallet to cover the transaction.
If you want to spend money in a currency Zing doesn’t support, the transaction is converted by Visa to your base currency. You can read more about Visa rates here. Please keep in mind these exchange rates can vary.
Different minimum and maximum limits may apply for single currency conversions and single payments depending on the currency. For more information on other limits associated with your Zing account, check out the payment calculator in the app. As you confirm your payment you'll see realtime data specific to your payment, this will detail any limits and fees applicable. These limits can change from time to time.
